Cheater Five Epoxy Surfboards

Boardworks Molded Epoxy Surfboards:

Kirk Pifer (and "Cheater Five") have been working with "Boardworks Surf.com" for about 8 years now. Earlier boards were built in Slavakia and were not with out trials and tribulations. After Enduring some turbulent times and unstable political conditions, Boardworks was forced to relocate. Even during these hard times great strides were being made to improve the "Epoxy Molded Surfboard," which they were producing. "Cheater Five" made a committed decision to have more models produced by them. By the time Boardworks restarted manufacturing in China, most of the kinks had been worked out. Breakage is a thing of the past, Graphics are much cleaner and the finishes are harder, shinier and much more resistant to scratching, ding's and of course dents ultimately resulting in a high quality stronger, lighter surfboard.

Kirk's first molded Epoxy board is the Cheater Five "Phat Pig" model. Overall dimensions are 7'0" x 21" 5/8" x 3 1/4". "This Pig Ain't Fat, He's Phat!" Kirk has been working with longboards in the 7' foot range for no less than 20 years and that evolution has brought about the "Phat Pig." The fastest and lightest one yet. This board paddles like an 8' footer but rides as loose as your favorite 6'6" board. The "Phat Pig" puts the "Fun" in "Functional".

Kirk's second board chosen to be cloned in Epoxy by Boardworks is the CheaterFive "The Thumb" model. It's overall dimensions are 9'4" X 23" X 3 1/4". This board catches waves like the traditional 10' footer, yet is easily as loose as a 9' footer when ridden from the tail. This board is longboard contest legal and once again "Cheater Five" gives you the "Unfair" advantage. This board is a High Performance round tail noserider.

Now Available from Kirk and Boardworks is the Cheater Five "Turbo-Charger". This board has overall dimensions of 7'6" x 20 1/2" x 2 7/8". Additionally on this board is a high performance "venturi-vee" triple concave bottom with a straighter outline and narrower tail. Still with a wide nose this board has extra nose (entry) rocker that will inspire confidence taking off on larger waves.
